🔼 Record Scratch. We knew it was likely to happen this weekend, we just didn’t know when. And if history is any indication, he’s going to stay in that top spot for many years to come.

🔼 Looking Forward. After blanking Le Moyne and winning 3-0 in the opening match of this weekend’s FGCU Classic, FAU volleyball closed out play with a loss in straight sets against Maryland of the Big Ten (22-25, 17-25, 22-25).

📅 Next, the Owls will kick off their inaugural conference season in the American Athletic Conference, heading to the Lone Star State to face off against the North Texas Mean Green. First serve is set for 6:00pm ET inside the North Texas Volleyball Center.

🔼 Running On Plenty. FAU men's and women's cross country teams completed their second meet of the regular season at the Mountain Dew XC Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida. The meet was marked by a new top finisher for the women while a familiar face was on top of the men's side.

🎽 From the women’s side, freshman Jessica Hatch impressed with a finishing time of 18:31.2 to lead the way in her first official race as an Owl. Casey O'Connor was right behind her with a time of 18:33.04 as the team finished 8th out of 14 total teams.

🎽 From the men’s side, Paul Glick was the top finisher for the men with a 26:23.7 time that helped the team to a 13th place finish.
