Good morning. FAU's basketball team (7-2) remains in the Associated Press Top 25 for the seventh consecutive week.

Despite the game’s ending, Florida Atlantic was led by another strong performance from junior center Vlad Goldin, who set a new career-high with 23 points. Junior guard Johnell Davis added 19 points on 3-4 shooting from beyond the arc and nine rebounds, while senior guard Jalen Gaffney dished out a career-high seven assists out of the 23 total from the team.

"I am really excited to release the 2024 schedule. We have 55 regular season games scheduled against seven different regional and super-regional teams from last season. We will be hosting three different home tournaments, bringing in teams from the SEC, BIG10, Sun Belt, MAC, ACC, and C-USA. We will also host the second annual Joan Joyce Invitational to honor the late Joan Joyce and the legacy she left at FAU.
We are going to be battle-tested and challenged with this schedule, which should prepare us for our first season in the American Athletic Conference. "
FAU's final home series of the regular season will bring Tulsa to Boca Raton May 3-5. The American Athletic Championship Tournament will take place at Wilkins Stadium in Wichita, Kansas, from May 8-11.

Some Excellent Early Returns. Junior LaJohntay Wester has been named a 2023 Football Writers All-American First-Team selection.
Wester was selected as an elite punt returner. The junior finished the regular season No. 2 nationally in punt return TDs. He led the American Athletic Conference in all-purpose yards with 1,520 and became the first Owl to return a punt for a TD since 2014.
Wester's regular season receiving efforts led the nation, as well as the AAC, wire-to-wire in receptions per game (9.0), receiving yards (1,168), receiving yards per game (97.3), and punt returns for a TD. The Palmetto, Florida native rewrote the FAU record book in the process.
