Good Morning, Owl Nation. With the much-anticipated launch of EA Sports College Football 25 this week, Florida Atlantic is raising the stakes for its most die-hard fans.

The Owls announced via the FAU Football X/Twitter account that a pair of 2024 season tickets would be given to the first fan to lead Florida Atlantic to a national championship victory in the game. The fan must follow @FAUFootball on X and Instagram and post proof of their national championship victory—with photos and/or videos—by tagging the Owls on both platforms.

Only one winner will receive a pair of 2024 FAU season tickets.

🔼Welcome to The Show. Following the conclusion of the 2024 MLB Amateur Draft, Florida Atlantic senior pitcher Danny Trehey has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Astros.

In his second year in South Florida, Trehey appeared in 26 games this past season, establishing himself as the Owls' top weapon out of the bullpen. He totaled a 1.83 ERA with 66 strikeouts in 44.1 innings.

"I'm really excited for Danny,” said FAU head baseball coach John McCormack. “He had a huge year for us and earned this opportunity to compete at the next level.”

🔼Prepping the Greens. Florida Atlantic men's golf will compete in 12 events during the 2024-25 fall and spring schedule, leading up to the American Conference Championship in Sarasota, Florida, next April.

The Owls 2024-25 roster includes six returners led by seniors Kaleb Palm, Jake Hibbert, and Guilherme Grinberg. Sophomores Andres Atrio and NaShawn Tyson will be expected to take on larger roles, as will Jack Brugman, who transferred in at semester last season.

"We lost several key pieces from last year, but I believe we still have a good mix of experienced players who should step up," head coach Adrien Mörk said. "We also have some young guys who will be eager to prove themselves.”
