🔼 First Of Many. If you didn’t see it on the broadcast last weekend, check out the field level view of FAU redshirt junior quarterback Michael Johnson Jr. scoring his very first touchdown with the Owls.

🔼 Eight Up. FAU men's golf finished eighth (-18) at the VCU Shootout on Tuesday, headlined by Max Sturdza (-11) tied for fifth individually as he circled another eight birdies yesterday to finish the event with 18 total, his second top-five in as many starts so far this fall.

🔼 Barn Burner. FAU men's soccer erased an early deficit but a last-minute goal was ultimately the difference in last night’s 4-3 defeat to Stetson.

Rotem Fadida finished with five saves in goal for the Owls. Stetson recorded 17 shot attempts compared to 15 for FAU (9-7 on goal in favor of the home side). The Owls resume conference play on Sunday evening at Charlotte with kickoff scheduled for 7:00pm ET.

🤔 PARADISE TRIVIA

Two reasons to celebrate. FAU is offering brand new tailgate experiences for their first two home games against AAC opponents next month with Tulsa and UTSA coming to town (more on that a little later…) so we decided to open the history books and see if you know how well the Owls have matched up against those two teams in the past.

Our question today—FAU is undefeated against which new conference rival? Tulsa or UTSA?

New coach. New era. New conference. New tailgate experiences for FAU football fans.

The Owls will play their inaugural American Athletic Conference contests against Tulsa on Saturday, October 7 and will then host UTSA on Saturday, October 21—and in celebration of the historic first two AAC contests, a new tailgating event is being presented by Islamorada Brewery & Distillery.

While the kick times have not been announced, the tailgates will open two and a half hours prior to game time and will be located outside of FAU Stadium Gates 1 and 2.
