🔼 Trey Bien. Today, we're celebrating one of our own helping to notch a victory on Monday Night Football. When two teams combine for just 35 points in a game, you know defense was important and every play matters—which is why Trey Hendrickson’s game-high two sacks (our favorite of which you can watch here) were instrumental in helping the Cincinnati Bengals win 19-16 over the Los Angeles Rams, their first victory of the season.

🔼 Kick Into High Gear. One wasn’t enough, so we went back for seconds. FAU women’s soccer’s Jodi Smith has been named the AAC women's soccer defensive player of the week, and Morgan McDonald was named to the AAC weekly honor roll.

Jodi Smith led the Owl backline to two shutouts in victories over Temple and FIU last week, with the FAU defense only allowed five shots on goal over the two matches. Morgan McDonald scored the game-winning goal in the 22nd minute of the Owls’ 2-0 victory over Temple last Thursday, the first AAC win in program history.

⚽️ FAU women’s returns home to resume conference play against UAB tomorrow. Kickoff is at 7:00pm ET.

🔼 Blew It Out Of The Water. FAU men's swimming and diving team has joined a new conference, but the success has remained the same—the Owls have swept the weekly swimmer and diver of the week awards after their first meet as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Peyton Ming has been named the ASUN Swimmer of the Week and Brandon Shepherd has been named Diver of the Week.
