Good Morning, Owl Nation. Get ready for a night of tropical elegance at "Touchdown in the Tropics" to support the upcoming Florida Atlantic University football season and its student-athletes. Join us at the Boca Marriott on August 22, 2024, from 6-9 PM.
Indulge in amazing food, enjoy live music, and hear from head football coach Tom Herman. This tropical-casual affair promises an unforgettable evening as we kick off the season in paradise with your hometown team.

🔼 Here’s Your Matrix…Sans Keanu…Sorry. The American Athletic Conference has announced the schedule matrix for the 2024-25 women's basketball season.
Florida Atlantic will play an 18-game conference schedule, playing six teams twice, both home and away, and the remaining six conference opponents just once.
The Owls play Charlotte, East Carolina, Memphis, Rice, and South Florida twice, both at home and on the road. Florida Atlantic will host North Texas, Temple, and UAB and visit Tulsa, UTSA, and Wichita State.

🔼To the Ellie..and Beyond. The American Athletic Conference has revealed the 2024-25 conference men's basketball matchups, highlighted by Florida Atlantic hosting USF, Memphis, Charlotte, and UAB at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena during its 18-game AAC schedule.
Fresh off two back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history, the Owls enter their second season in the AAC with first-year Head Coach John Jakus at the helm.
Dates and times will be announced later, but the Owls are set for home-and-home matchups with Charlotte, East Carolina, Memphis, North Texas, UAB, and USF. At home only, FAU gets Rice, UTSA, and Wichita State. On the road only, the Owls are at Temple, Tulane, and Tulsa to round out the conference slate.

🔼Full Swing Ahead. Florida Atlantic women's golf will compete in nine events in the 2024-25 fall and spring schedule leading up to the American Conference Championship in Brooksville, Florida, next April.
Led by fourth-year head coach Heather Bowie Young, the fall schedule will include four tournaments starting September 8, with the Golfweek Fall Invite in South Carolina.
The roster will feature four returners, sophomores Charlotte Perkins and Giulia Scarcello and seniors Olivia Florence and Autumn King. The five newcomers include four freshmen and one graduate transfer.
"This fall, we welcome four freshmen and one graduate,” Coach Young said. “I'm looking forward to seeing them compete."

🔼A Race to the Finish. Florida Atlantic's men's and women's cross-country teams have announced their 2024 fall schedules.
Three regular-season races begin with the 10th annual Florida Atlantic Invitational, the team's only home meet of the year, and culminate with two postseason events.
Head coach Alex Smolka will lead the Owls. He has been at the head of the Cross-Country program since 2001 and was recently honored by the University for his 25+ years of service to FAU. By his side are Associate Head Coach Georgette Nixon and Assistant Coach Sonja Friend-Uhl.
