Good Morning, FAU Fam. Florida Atlantic head men's basketball coach John Jakus has rounded out his inaugural staff with the hiring of Aditya Malhotra as assistant coach.

Malhotra joins the 2024-25 Owls' staff after two seasons in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns, first as Manager of Amateur Scouting from July 2022 to May 2023 before being named the Manager of Basketball Quality Control in May of '23.
 
Jakus and Malhotra's coaching relationship dates back to 2017 when the two served on the Baylor staff.

⚾️ FAU's Kevin Alexander Signs with St. Louis Cardinals - 2016

🔼 All Four One. The Florida Atlantic women's tennis team concluded the 2023-24 season, their first in the American Athletic Conference, with a 13-9 record and a No. 73 national ranking. The Owls return four starters from a year ago, a season in which they tallied a program-high 11-match winning streak. The Owls have added four players to the 2024-25 recruiting class, a class recently ranked No. 4 among mid-major colleges, as announced by TennisRecruiting.net.

🔼 Took the Bulls by the Horns. The Florida Atlantic Owls take on the South Florida Bulls in a rare Friday night game on Nov. 24 this upcoming season. As such, let’s do a rewind to their last matchup on Oct. 14, 2023.

Daniel Richardson completed 31 of 38 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns, LaJohntay Wester had 190 all-purpose yards and two scores, and Florida Atlantic scored 35 unanswered points in a 56-14 win over South Florida on Saturday.

FAU had a narrow 21-14 lead at halftime, but they took over in the second half. Wester, who entered No. 1 among AAC members in punt returns and receiving yards per game, scored on a 17-yard catch for a 35-14 lead and he added a 67-yard punt return on their next possession. Wester finished with 10 grabs for 123 yards.
