That’s exactly how the Owls responded after an early TD from FIU to power their way to a seventh straight Shula Bowl victory, 38-20, over the Panthers on Saturday night.

Not even a 90-minute weather delay could slow down FAU and Zuberi Mobley, who punched in three TDs on the day.

In all, the Owls scored five touchdowns, tied for third most in program history.

Senior Mamadou Diarra scored both goals, including this one featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10, to lead the FAU men’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over visiting North Florida on Friday night.

In goal, Nacho Alfaro notched his second clean sheet of the season for the Owls.

Winners of two of their past three, FAU heads into conference play this week with momentum on their side.

The FAU women’s soccer program put the cherry on top of a winning weekend for the Owls with a 4-0 victory over SEMO on Sunday evening.

With conference play on the horizon, the Owls dominated every facet of the game, outshooting SEMO by a tally of 20-4 and had four different goal scorers on the evening.
