Good morning, FAU Family. Florida Atlantic senior pitcher C.J. Williams has been named American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. He is the first Owl to earn an AAC Player/Pitcher of the Week nod.
 
Williams tossed the program's first complete-game shutout since 2016 in Friday's 5-0 win over Tulane. He recorded five strikeouts and needed 111 pitches to go the distance, improving his record to 5-2 on the season.

🔼 Covering All Bases. Pitcher Gabby Sacco and Outfielder Presley Leebrick were named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll. Leebrick helped the Florida Atlantic softball team sweep the Roadrunners over the past weekend, leading the Owls with a .571 batting average—four runs, four hits, three RBI, and one home run. On the year, Sacco totals 83.0 innings, 53 strikeouts, five complete games, and four shutouts thus far.

🔼 Road Blip. Florida Atlantic baseball got off to a fast start on Tuesday night but leveled out in a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Miami. The sides split the season series 2-2, with the home team winning all four for the second straight season. The Owls return to conference play on Friday at USF. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
