3 former Owls saw action in the Wild Card round of the 2024 NFL playoffs - Singletary continues
Good morning. The 2024 NFL Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs has concluded, with three former FAU football players seeing action in the opening round.
James Pierre and the Pittsburgh Steeler's season came to an end against the Buffalo Bills.
The battle between the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans was also a battle between the Owls, with Harrison Bryant (Browns) taking on his old teammate Devin Singletary (Texans). In the national spotlight, Bryant put forth the best game of his NFL career, hauling in four catches for 67 yards. Not to be outdone by his former teammate, Singletary turned 13 carries into 66 yards. The Browns would ultimately lose 45-14.
Singletary, aka “Motor,” continues in the divisional round with the Texans, taking on the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 4:30pm ET.
