Good Morning, FAU Fam. Florida Atlantic women's soccer swept up three American Conference weekly awards for the second straight week. Hailey Santiago repeated as Offensive Player of the Week after her second hat trick in seven days, the shortest span between hat tricks in program history!

Lola Hathorne earned both Freshman of the Week and Midfielder of the Week after picking up a game-winning assist Thursday and burying two long-distance goals on her only two shots Sunday. The Owls continue their road trip tomorrow at North Dakota State.

🔼 This Week In Paradise. Football returns to Paradise on Saturday as Florida Atlantic opens both its home season and American Conference play against Navy at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU. The Owls aren't the only ones starting league play at home; men's soccer begins the defense of its conference championship Friday against Charlotte at 7 p.m. at FAU Soccer Stadium. Before all that, Wednesday brings football practice viewing around 10 a.m. with Defensive Coordinator Brett Dewhurst afterward, and Thursday features both Inside the Owls' Burrow and the Coaches Radio Show at Duffy's from 6-7 p.m.

🔼 Wall Between The Posts. Florida Atlantic senior Alfred Mikkelsen has been named American Conference Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week after keeping Cleveland State off the board in Saturday's scoreless draw. The Denmark native now has four shutouts through five matches, tied for the most in Division I. It was also the 10th clean sheet of his career, moving him into a tie for third in program history.

🔼 Home Opener Saturday. Football returns to Paradise on Saturday as Florida Atlantic hosts Navy in both its home opener and American Conference opener, with kickoff set for 7:45 p.m. on ESPNU. The Owls are coming off a season opener in the Swamp where Caden Veltkamp piled up 34 completions, the most among all FBS players in Week 1, and Kelby Valsin hauled in 10 catches for 92 yards and a score in his Owl debut. Leon Hart Jr. led the defense with seven tackles, while Jayden Sweeney added six and the season's first interception. Saturday marks just the fourth meeting between the two programs.
