📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Doing It Thrice. Hailey Santiago is on a tear! The FAU women’s soccer forward hung all three goals on Jacksonville in a 3-0 Florida Atlantic win last night, capping the hat trick in the 89th minute with a right-footed strike into the bottom right corner. Santiago fired seven shots and put four on frame, with Lola Hathorne setting up one of the goals. Ashley Small handled the rest, making two saves for the clean sheet as the Owls outshot the Dolphins 17-9.

🔼 A New Season. Graduate QB Caden Veltkamp, who led the nation in completions per game last season while guiding the country's top passing offense, sits down with Frank Forte to preview 2026 on this week's "Inside the Owls' Burrow.” Catch it here.

🔼 Big League Debut. Former Florida Atlantic infielder BJ Murray made his MLB debut Tuesday night, starting at designated hitter for the Chicago Cubs against the Brewers. Murray became the second Owl in 2026 to reach the majors, and he wasted no time getting on the board with an infield single in the sixth for his first big league hit. The Nassau, Bahamas, native was hitting .294 with 16 home runs and 68 RBI at Triple-A Iowa when the call came Sunday night. He played three seasons at FAU from 2019-2021, breaking out as a junior with 14 homers, 52 RBI, and a .311 average.
