🔼 Home For The Finale. FAU men’s soccer’s Kevin Gorbell took the long way back to Boca Raton. The senior defender spent a season at North Carolina and two more at Robert Morris before returning to his hometown for a final collegiate campaign with Florida Atlantic. He wasted little time making it count, heading home the game-tying goal in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Memphis to earn American Conference Weekly Honorable Mention. The Owls head to Tulsa tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

🔼 Texas Two-Step. Florida Atlantic volleyball opens American Conference play with a Texas road swing, visiting North Texas tonight at 7 p.m. ET and UTSA on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, both on ESPN+. The Owls enter at 7-4 after sweeping all three matches at the Owls Paradise Classic, and they lead the conference in both assists and kills per set. Libby Ashline ranks seventh nationally with a .485 hitting percentage. Sunday's trip to San Antonio brings a challenge: UTSA carries an eight-match winning streak.

🔼 Meet The Roster. Florida Atlantic men's basketball is deep into preseason practice, and fans can get acquainted early through "Behind the Jersey," a video series hosted by director of player development Eric McClellan featuring all 15 members of the squad. The roster stretches across the globe, with players from Canada, Israel, Nigeria, France, and Puerto Rico alongside a handful of Florida products. Paradise Madness on Oct. 7 is the first chance to see the Owls in person, followed by home exhibitions against Keiser and The Citadel. The regular season opens Nov. 2 against LIU at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

🔼 Back On The Court. Florida Atlantic men's and women's tennis are back on campus and gearing up for 2026-27, with both rosters built around maturity and both eyeing an American Conference Championship in 2027. The fall brings individual competition across the southeast in a mix of collegiate and ITF events. The American Conference Individual Championship for both squads is set for Oct. 22-25 in Houston.

🔼 Owls In Week Two. Four former Florida Atlantic players saw action in Week 2, led by Azeez Al-Shaair's 12-tackle afternoon in Houston. Trey Hendrickson notched his first sack as a Raven late in the third quarter, and James Pierre helped Minnesota seal a 9-3 defensive slugfest over Chicago with two tackles and his third pass breakup of the year. Devin Singletary added three touches on Monday night for the Giants. Federico Maranges and Zaire Mitchell-Paden remain on practice squads in Seattle and Houston.
