🔼 Season Opens in Paradise. Florida Atlantic volleyball's 40th season begins this weekend! The Owls host the Florida Atlantic Invitational at Abessinio Court, opening today with a first-ever meeting against Merrimack at 10 a.m. before facing Stetson at 7 p.m., and closing against rival FIU tomorrow at 2 p.m. Fifteen-year head coach Fernanda Nelson's squad returns 10 key players from a 19-11 campaign, led by Preseason All-Conference outside hitter Olivia Hart. 🔼 Undefeated Start. FAU men’s soccer kept rolling with a 2-0 win over UNF last night! The Owls got goals from Michel Tentchou and Jonas Sundli-Hardig, while Alfred Mikkelsen tallied three saves as FAU moved to 2-0-1 on the season.

🔼 Seventh Heaven. What a night in Paradise! Florida Atlantic women's soccer erupted for a 7-0 rout of Howard, powered by Hailey Santiago's hat trick, the first by an Owl since 2022, and multi-goal efforts throughout the lineup. Santiago struck twice in the opening five minutes, while Lola Hathorne tallied a goal and two assists, and Maiya Castillo added a pair. The Owls outshot Howard 25-4, with Lily Holden and Kendall Pechacek combining for FAU's first clean sheet since October 2024. In total, 24 Owls saw the pitch in the dominant performance.

🔼 Portal Powerhouse. Florida Atlantic softball’s 2027 transfer class was ranked No. 17 nationally by D1Softball and No. 1 among all mid-major programs. Head Coach Jordan Clark added eight transfers ahead of her fourth season, headlined by Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year Brooklynn Danielson and reigning NJCAA All-American Belle Mancillas. The Owls look to build on a run featuring 155 victories and two NCAA Regional appearances.

🔼 Manning Watch. Caden Veltkamp keeps racking up recognition! The Florida Atlantic graduate quarterback was named to the Manning Award Watch List, one of just two American Conference signal-callers among the 40 honorees for the award given to college football's top quarterback. Veltkamp enters year two in Paradise as the nation's reigning leader in completions per game (28.75) after powering the No. 1 passing offense in the country. The Owls open the 2026 campaign at Florida on Sept. 5, airing on SEC Network!
