It’s Football Week, FAU Family. Florida Atlantic football celebrates its 25th season, while FAU Athletics hits another milestone with Inside the Owls' Burrow beginning its 10th season, showcasing all things FAU Athletics.

Season 10 will air tomorrow—Thursday, Aug. 28—at 10 a.m. ET on FanDuel Sports Network Florida.

The weekly show's third installment of the fall will feature Forte talking one-on-one with first-year Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley. In celebration of the 25^th season, fans will have the opportunity to take a look back at the program's 100th win.

We’re counting down the days to the return of Florida Atlantic football on August 30 at Maryland! In the FAU football team’s first-ever Bowl game, QB Rusty Smith threw 3 touchdown passes to lead the Owls to a victory over Memphis (2007 New Orleans Bowl).

🔼 Deuces! For the first time since becoming a Division I program in 1993, the Florida Atlantic men's soccer team is ranked in a National Poll. The Owls are No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, released on Tuesday.

FAU is one of two nationally ranked American Conference teams, with Missouri State coming in at No. 23. The Owls were last included in the national rankings as a member of Division II in 1992.

The squad is coming off back-to-back home shutouts over Creighton (3-0) and Omaha (2-0) to start the season. They will host Jacksonville to conclude a season-opening three-match homestand tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:30 p.m. ET.

🔼 In Keeping With Success. Florida Atlantic men's soccer junior Alfred Mikkelsen has been named the American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week. Seniors Aboubacar Traore and Kerfalla Toure were each named as weekly honorable mentions.

Mikkelsen opened his Division I career with back-to-back clean sheets in victories over Creighton and Omaha. The native of Soro, Denmark, notched six stops in the 3-0 win on Thursday. He would add two more saves in the 2-0 victory on Sunday night. Traore tallied two assists in the season opener and added a goal and another assist on Sunday. Toure served a vital role in holding Creighton and Omaha to a combined 17 shots with only eight on target.

The Owls will look to make it three straight wins when they host Jacksonville tomorrow at 5:30 p.m.

🔼 Forward Thinking By This Owl. In an effort to make the Owls the hometown team for Boca Raton, student-athletes have totaled nearly 20,000 hours of community service during Vice President Brian White's tenure. In part of this effort, we will showcase our hometown student-athletes from the Florida Keys through West Palm Beach. Meet Florida Atlantic's women's soccer graduate forward, Sloane Young, as the first Hometown student-athlete of the "Hometown Team" series.
