Good Morning, FAU Family. The Florida Atlantic men's basketball 2025-26 roster has been announced by Head Coach John Jakus, entering his second year at the helm of the Owls. 

Jakus finished his first year at 18-15, the third coach in program history to achieve 18 wins in a season. The Owls posted their seventh consecutive winning season and, as a result, were selected for their second NIT appearance in program history. Jakus was a finalist for the 2024-25 Joe B. Hall Award, given to the nation's best first-year head coach.

🔼 Calling to Attention. The Florida Atlantic women's soccer team tallied three players on the American Conference Players to Watch list. 

Defender Daniella Diaz, midfielder Morgan McDonald, and forward Michelle Horan were named the 2025 American players to watch for the Owls. All three are returning for their final collegiate season at FAU.

🔼 Commencing Kittley Era. The Florida Atlantic football team returned to the practice fields on Monday morning, following a Saturday scrimmage in Flager Credit Union Stadium.

Back in familiar territory with a nearly two-hour practice in the August South Florida heat, Coach Kittley stressed that it's the little details that will ultimately separate the Owls from their competition, right down to substitutions and alignments. It was an essential reminder with a significant first test facing the program on August 30—the season opener against Maryland, which allows the Owls to begin the Kittley era with a win over a Big Ten opponent.
