Good Morning, FAU Fam. Three FAU student-athletes earned American Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in their respective sports: women's golfer Carolin Alblas (4.0 GPA), softball pitcher Autumn Courtney (3.666 GPA, 123 strikeouts), and swimmer Daniel Laureyssens (3.8 GPA).
Alblas and Laureyssens were also named FAU's Female and Male Student-Athletes of the Year, respectively.

🔼 Football’s Coming. Hagerty Family head coach Zach Kittley, quarterback Caden Veltkamp, and defensive lineman CJ Doggette Jr. will represent FAU at the American Kickoff in St. Petersburg on July 23-24. Kittley enters Year 2 after his offense led the nation in passing yards per game (340.2). Live coverage airs Friday, July 24, on ESPN+.
🔼 Congrats, Coach. Florida Atlantic softball promoted Taylor Minnick from graduate assistant to assistant coach after one season in Paradise. Minnick concluded a decorated playing career at Indiana as the program's all-time leader in batting average (.390), home runs (45), RBI (204), and doubles (61), earning two All-American honors. She will take on an expanded role overseeing hitters along with the outfield in 2027.
🔼 Silverman Surges. Former FAU golfer Ben Silverman tied for third at the ISCO Championship, the best finish of his five-year PGA Tour career. The Canadian fired 64-66 on the weekend to finish at 15-under, one shot out of a playoff, and earned $236,000.
