Good Morning, FAU Family. The Florida Atlantic and St. Bonaventure's MBB programs announced a two-game home-and-home series that will begin in Paradise for the 2025-26 season. The Owls host the Bonnies at the Elly on Sunday, Nov. 30, for the first matchup. The 2026-27 date for the game in St. Bonaventure, New York, is TBD. 

In his second year at the helm, head coach John Jakus will face the Bonnies for the first time. His squad is coming off an 18-win season and an appearance in the NIT for the team's fourth consecutive postseason bid.

We’re counting down the days to the return of Florida Atlantic football on August 30 at Maryland! Though FAU linebacker Rashad Smith mostly wore No. 7, he was assigned No. 47 early in his redshirt year. Smith finished his college career with 51 games, 316 tackes, 11.5 sacks, 7 interceptions, 8 pass breakups and 2 forced fumbles.

🔼 Advantage Owls. Lucca Accioly has solidified his attentions to join the Florida Atlantic men's tennis team, announced Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU's Director of Tennis.

Accioly, a resident of Boca Raton and native of Brazil, attended Grandview Preparatory followed by Miami Dade College. The Evert tennis Academy product holds a UTR of 11+ in singles and a 12+ in doubles. He climbed to 549 as a junior player.

🔼 Full Circle Moment. John Bernard has been named an assistant coach for the Florida Atlantic men's tennis team, announced by Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU's Director of Tennis.

Bernard comes to FAU after a five-year playing career between two seasons with the Owls, including one as a team captain, and three at Florida State. The All-AAC selection in 2024-25 worked his way to the Owls' top court and was a participant in the nation's first individual championship held in the fall of 2024.
