The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has announced Florida Atlantic head coach John McCormack as part of its 2026 Hall of Fame class.

Good Morning, FAU Family. The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has announced Florida Atlantic head coach John McCormack as part of its 2026 Hall of Fame class. McCormack and five others will be officially inducted in a ceremony in January. Induction to the ABCA Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

McCormack completed his 17th year as the Owls' head coach in 2025 and his 35th season with the program. Under his leadership, FAU baseball has qualified for NCAA Regionals six times and has captured four regular season conference championships and one conference tournament championship.

McCormack also served on the USA Baseball coaching staff in the summer of 2024 and traveled to Ireland in the fall as an ambassador to the sport.

🔼 Lights, Camera, Owls. Florida Atlantic football will take part in the 2025 AAC Media Day, now taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina, from Thursday, July 24 to Friday, July 25. The Owls will be represented by first-year head coach Zach Kittley, redshirt junior QB Caden Veltkamp, and redshirt senior defensive lineman Bryce Langston.

The trio will be available to the media at the Charlotte Convention Center to preview the 2025 season, FAU's third as a member of the AAC, while also participating in photo and video shoots.
