Good Morning, FAU Family. Florida Atlantic's men basketball will participate in the eight-team Sunshine Slam Tournament, held from November 24-25, 2025, in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Owls have been regular participants in November tournaments over the past three seasons, winning the ESPN Events Invitational at Walt Disney World in 2023.

FAU is part of the four-team Beach Bracket, which includes George Mason, Loyola Marymount, and Ohio. Two semifinal games will take place on Monday, Nov. 24, with the championship game as well as a consolation matchup on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Matchups and schedules will be announced at a later date.

🔼 Okay, So Here’s the Pitch. FAU sophomore pitchers Trey Beard and MJ Bollinger have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, maintain a 3.50 or better GPA, and be an important starter or reserve.

Beard established himself as one of the best pitchers in the country in his sophomore campaign, finishing with a 7-1 record, a 3.14 ERA, and 118 strikeouts. In the classroom, Beard holds a 3.58 GPA while majoring in business management. Bollinger led the Owls with 11 saves, five of which required six outs or more. He finished with a 2.01 ERA in 44.2 innings. He majors in Information Systems Management and carries a 3.78 GPA.
