Number of the Day: 66

We’re counting down the days to the return of Florida Atlantic football on August 30 at Maryland! During the 2010-11 season, the Florida Atlantic football team had a kickoff average. 66.6 yards per kick, and while some might associate that number with something ominous, we’ve got nothing but good vibes about this incoming season!

Countdown to Kickoff is brought to you by Shiner Law Group Accident & Injury Lawyers. We don’t just handle cases – we fight tirelessly for your rights, seeking the compensation you deserve while providing compassionate, personalized legal support every step of the way.

🔼 Incoming Junior Jam. Florida Atlantic's men's tennis team has added experience with the addition of Vanja Hodzic, who is slated to transfer to Paradise this fall.

Hodzic, a junior, spent his first two collegiate seasons at Wichita State where he built a 29-24 record primarily playing on the top three courts, including a 19-16 dual match record. Hodzic will be the third junior, joining returners of Mark Havlicek and Simon Myslivec, who primarily played courts two and five, respectively, on a squad of no seniors. FAU is slated to return five rising sophomores who played pivotal roles in the Owls' 2024-25 success and will also welcome Bullion Sharp as an early freshman signee.
