Redshirt junior QB Caden Veltkamp has been selected as a counselor at the annual Manning Passing Academy along with several other of the top college quarterbacks.
Good Morning, FAU Family. Caden Veltkamp, redshirt junior QB for the Florida Atlantic football team, has been selected as a counselor at the annual Manning Passing Academy, held from June 26 – 29 at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Veltkamp and several other of the top college quarterbacks in the country will assist in in the development of high school talent.
The four-day camp is founded and run by the legendary Manning family, with 48 years of combined NFL quarterback experience between Archie and his four-time Super Bowl champion sons Eli and Peyton.
Veltkamp enters his first year with the Owls after a 2024 season that saw him win Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year at Western Kentucky.

We’re counting down the days to the return of Florida Atlantic football on August 30 at Maryland! In 2023, right tackle Chaz Neal wore No. 71. That year, Neal earned All-AAC First Team (Phil Steele) and Third Team (Athlon) honors. He was a consistent starter, playing 59 snaps vs. Tulsa and starting in 12 games throughout the season.
