Florida Atlantic baseball finished its 33-game home schedule with a total attendance number of 18,756—the highest total in program history.
Good Morning, FAU Family. Florida Atlantic baseball finished its 33-game home schedule with a total attendance number of 18,756—the highest total in program history.
The average attendance of 568 is officially the second highest behind the 2018 season.
The Owls won 25 home games in 2025, which is tied for the most since 2008. Four of their six series sweeps came at the FAU Baseball Stadium.

We’re counting down the days to the return of Florida Atlantic football on August 30 at Maryland! In honor of the countdown being at 73 days, we take a look at FAU’s #73, Alex Atcavage. He started at right tackle in the Owls’ Shula Bowl victory over FIU. He drew his seventh start last season at UTSA. He was a starter in the North Texas game, protecting an offense that gained 519 yards. Coach Zach Kittle showed his appreciation for Atcavage on X:

🔼 The Perks Of Being Charlotte. Florida Atlantic sophomore women's golfer Charlotte Perkins has been named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large team. The program recognizes athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Perkins competed in all nine events this season for the Owls, capping off her sophomore campaign with a tie for third at the AAC Championship and a place on the all-conference team. Off the course, Perkins maintained a 3.97 GPA while majoring in Communications Studies.
Perkins advances to the Academic All-America ballot, and honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8.

🔼 Paradise Awaits. Recruiting is underway, and we’ve already seen that Coach Jakus likes to get on the horn when it comes to Florida Atlantic MBB!

🔼 She Wins This Numbers Game. Shelly Bereznyak will join the Florida Atlantic women's tennis team as a graduate assistant this fall.
Bereznyak, a native of Bat Yam, Israel, will come to the Owls after a four-year playing career at No. 6 Ohio State where she tallied an 83-30 singles record, including a 55-12 dual match record, but most impressively she was 21-1 in Big Ten matches. In doubles play, Bereznyak concluded her collegiate career with a record of 30-35, including a 16-11 dual doubles record. Her personal best ranking was No. 71, achieved in the fall of 2024. Also, among Bereznyak's athletic accolades is a selection to the Big Ten All-Tournament team.

Goin’ Back to the Bayou. That was a lot of firsts for the Florida Atlantic football team!
FAU quarterback Rusty Smith had a standout performance, throwing for 336 yards and a bowl-record five touchdowns.
