🔼 Preseason Praise. 10 Owls earned 2026 preseason All-Conference nods from Phil Steele. Easton Messer, CJ Doggette Jr., and Leon Hart Jr. landed on the first team, while Caden Veltkamp, Dominique Henry, and Ja’Kavion Nonar were named to the second team. Vincent Fiacable, Joseph Sipp Jr., Damarius McGhee, and Collin Rogers earned fourth-team recognition.

🔼 Called Up. Former Florida Atlantic outfielder and current member of the Philadelphia Phillies Gabriel Rincones Jr. became the 15th former Owl to make his MLB debut over the weekend. The Scotland native was a third-round pick in the 2022 MLB Draft after leading FAU with 19 home runs and 69 RBI while earning Conference USA Newcomer of the Year honors. He joins Nolan Schanuel (Angels) and Pedro Pages (Cardinals) as former Owls currently on MLB rosters.

  and see a dentist promptly.

• Knocked-Out Tooth: Handle by the crown, rinse gently, store in milk or saline if
  it won’t go back in the socket, and see a dentist within 30 minutes.

• Chipped/Broken Tooth: Save pieces, eat soft foods, apply gauze to stop
  bleeding, use a cold pack for swelling, and seek dental care immediately.

• Lost Filling/Crown: Keep the crown, rinse with warm water, avoid chewing on
  the affected side, and visit the dentist for repair.
