Good Morning, FAU Fam. Florida Atlantic softball set every home attendance record in the book this season, drawing 14,057 fans across 25 home dates, a program-best average of 562 per game. The Owls shattered the single-game record twice in April alone, peaking at 907 against UAB, and posted a 21-4 home record on Joan Joyce Field.

FAU is the only American Conference program to win 30-plus games in each of the last three seasons and boasts an 89-26 home record under head coach Jordan Clark's four-year tenure. The No. 4 seed Owls open the American Conference Championship on Thursday at noon on ESPN+ in Greenville.

🔼 Midweek W. FAU baseball downed UCF, 6-5, last night with Dalton Robinson getting the win on the mound and Garrett Grant securing the save for the Owls. Patrick Ward led the way offensively with a homer and two RBI, while Nick Romano and Marshall Lipsey each added an RBI. The Owls travel to Wichita this weekend for a three-game road series against the Shockers.

🔼 First Team Duo. Autumn Courtney and Kylie Hammonds became the first duo in Florida Atlantic softball history to earn American Conference First Team All-Conference honors in consecutive seasons. Courtney led the Owls with 120 strikeouts and 17 wins while ranking ninth among all active Division I pitchers with 740 career strikeouts and fourth nationally with 77 career victories. Hammonds paced the team with 58 hits and nine homers while posting the highest on-base percentage among all conference outfielders during league play at .519.

🔼 Weekly Nod. Florida Atlantic outfielder Brett Patten earned American Conference weekly honorable mention after going 6-for-12 with two doubles, three RBI, and four runs scored across a 3-1 week against Florida Gulf Coast and South Florida. FAU hosts UCF tonight at 6:35 p.m.

🔼 Conference Honors. Florida Atlantic's Teegan Anderson became the first Owl in program history to earn American Conference Track Athlete of the Week after setting the school record in the 1,500 meters at the East Coast Relays with a time of 4:23.61, tied for the fastest in the conference this season.

🔼 Inside the Owls’ Burrow. Episode 29 of Inside the Owls' Burrow is live now, featuring two-sport athlete Kyle Boylston on balancing football and baseball, a peek inside football's Ladies Night, and WR Dominique Henry wired for sound at spring practice. The show also spotlights 800-meter standout Rosa ten Berg and a teammate chat between softball's Lily Holtje and McKenna Mulholland.

🔼 Welcome to Paradise. Florida Atlantic women's basketball added sophomore guard Jasmine "Jazzy" Gipson from SMU, bringing defensive intensity and transition speed to the Owls' backcourt. The Albuquerque native played 18 games with six starts for the Mustangs as a freshman and was a standout at powerhouse Duncanville High School, where she helped capture the 2024 Texas Class 6A state championship.
