Good Morning, FAU Fam. She’s golden! Florida Atlantic softball's Bella Foran made program history as the first Owl to earn a DI Rawlings Gold Glove Award, taking the honor at left field after a dominant defensive sophomore season.

Foran recorded 146 putouts, the most by any outfielder in the award's history, while making good on 152 of 153 total defensive chances for a .993 fielding percentage. The award continues FAU's run of three straight seasons with a national postseason honor from the NFCA under head coach Jordan Clark, whose defense has finished in the national top 10 in fielding percentage all three years.

🔼 Are You Ready For Kickoff? Florida Atlantic football locked in times and networks for seven 2026 games, starting with a Sept. 5 trip to The Swamp to face Florida at 7:45 p.m. on SEC Network. The Owls' home opener follows Sept. 12 against Navy at 7:30 p.m., with the 23rd Shula Bowl against FIU on Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. Highlights include FAU's first-ever trip to West Point to face Army on Oct. 17 at noon on CBS Sports Network and back-to-back Thursday night games at North Texas (Oct. 29) and home against UTSA (Nov. 5) on ESPN or ESPN2.

🔼 World Cup In Boca. The Curaçao National Team, the smallest nation by population and land mass to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, will hold a free public training session at FAU's football stadium on Thursday, June 11, from 6-7:30 p.m. as part of the team's World Cup base camp stay in Boca Raton. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., admission and parking are free, and tickets are limited to the first 5,000 fans. Curaçao opens World Cup play against Germany on June 14 in Houston. Fans can RSVP at fausports.com.

🔼 Dynamic Duo. Florida Atlantic women’s tennis's Panna Bartha and Katrin Pavkova finished the season ranked No. 79 nationally in doubles, the second straight year FAU has had a pair end the year in the ITA rankings. The duo posted a 10-4 record in dual matches and climbed as high as No. 56 in early March. Both are expected to return for the 2026-27 season.
