Paradise Brew 5/20: Tourney Day!
Plus: A remarkable career.
Good Morning, FAU Fam. Florida Atlantic baseball opens American Conference Tournament play this afternoon at 1 p.m. against Wichita State in a play-in matchup, with the winner advancing to face No. 3 seed Rice tomorrow in the double-elimination phase of the bracket.

The Owls rallied from a 2-7 conference start to reel off five straight weekend series wins, and ride all-conference honorees James Litman and Nick Romano into the postseason. FAU holds a 6-3 all-time series edge over the Shockers, including a two-of-three series win in Wichita last month.

Romano started all 55 games and led the Owls in hits (65) while tying for the team lead in RBI (38), anchoring a defense that posted the best fielding percentage in the American.
🔼 A Remarkable Four Years. FAU softball’s Jesiana Mora put together one of the best careers in program history! Mora, a two-time American Conference champion, earned 2025 American Conference Defensive Player of the Year, was named All-Conference twice, and landed on the 2024 NFCA All-Region team.
