🔼 Can’t Make it to Gainesville? Florida Atlantics Athletics has announced an official watch party location for Friday's NCAA Softball Regional game between the Owls and Georgia Tech.
FAU fans are invited to the Duffy's on St. Andrews Blvd. in Boca Raton for an early Happy Hour on Friday to cheer on their hometown team and take advantage of Duffy's 2-for-1 drink specials. First pitch versus the Yellow Jackets is at 2 p.m. and the game is nationally televised on ESPNU.

🔼 Drama, Drama, Drama. Florida Atlantic baseball trailed Florida Gulf Coast by four runs in the bottom of the ninth before mounting a miraculous comeback to win 9-8 on a walk-off single by Marshall Lipsey. The victory clinched the series for the Owls (34-18) over the Eagles (24-27) three games to one.

🔼 So, You’re Telling Me There’s a Chance. NaShawn Tyson is tied for 28th place after a second consecutive 73 (+1) at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. The sophomore is only four shots outside the Top 10, which would give him a chance to earn a spot in the National Championship.
Just as he did on Monday, Tyson balanced three birdies with three bogeys in round two on Tuesday. The sophomore finished with momentum, circling birdies on two of his last three holes at the 16th and 18th.

🔼 From Aggies, With Love. FAU head WBB coach LeAnn Freeland continues to add guard depth with the addition of Madi Gewirtz from New Mexico State. A 5-foot-11 sophomore, Gewirtz joins the Owls after playing her freshman season with the Aggies.
During her freshman season at NMSU, Gewirtz competed in 30 contests, averaging 13.7 minutes per game. The two-time Conference USA Freshman of the Week honoree led the Aggies in blocks with 14. She also recorded 61 rebounds, 26 steals and 19 assists in her first season.
🤓 How many NCAA Tournament appearances has new WBB head coach LeAnn Freeland made in her 17 seasons at the helm of NSU and University of Indianapolis?
Got a guess?
