🔼 Series Win. Florida Atlantic softball opened its final home series with a 5-4 win over UAB in front of a record crowd of 907 at Joan Joyce Field. Jesiana Mora and Ciara Gibson went back-to-back with solo homers in the third and fourth innings to build a 5-0 cushion, and Autumn Courtney struck out eight to earn her 17th win. FAU improves to 13-12 in American Conference play heading into the weekend.

🔼 Strong Finish. Florida Atlantic men's golf closed the American Conference Championship with its best round of the week, a 5-under 283 on Wednesday, to finish eighth. Biagio Gagliardi led the charge with a 4-under 68 that included an eagle on the par-4 12th and five birdies, vaulting him 16 spots into a tie for 21st. NaShawn Tyson carded six birdies in a final-round 69 to climb 15 spots into a tie for 32nd, while Guilherme Grinberg matched him there after a four-birdie front nine. Charlotte ran away with the team title at 49 under par.

🔼 Welcome to Paradise. Florida Atlantic women's basketball added redshirt freshman guard Skyla Tuthill from Rice, where she was part of an American Conference regular-season championship squad. The South Carolina native was a prolific prep scorer at Ashley Ridge High School, surpassing 2,000 career points and averaging 21.2 points per game as a senior while leading the Swamp Foxes to a 27-1 record. Tuthill earned South Carolina 5A Player of the Year and MaxPreps Player of the Year honors and brings three-point range and transition playmaking to Boca Raton.
