The Owls hold a record of 14-0 heading into this weekend's match versus FIU, scheduled for 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 12.

🔼 Meteoric Rise, Part Two. The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team jumped four spots in the latest ITA poll, moving to No. 63 as announced by the ITA on Tuesday.

While the young Owls have gained tremendous playing experience this season, they have seen the return of graduate student Jiri Jenicek in recent weeks and continue to rely upon senior captain John Bernard, who also climbed 17 spots in this week's ranking to No. 100.

🔼 ‘Nother Windfall. The No. 21 Florida Atlantic softball team collected AAC weekly awards once again, with Autumn Courtney earning her second consecutive Pitcher of the Week honor and sophomore outfielder Kylie Hammonds named to the AAC Weekly Honorable Mention list.

FAU has now received conference accolades after each of the first nine weeks in regular season play. Coming off two wins over South Florida, their eighth straight conference series victory dating back to 2024, the Owls (34-7, 13-2) further solidified themselves atop the league standings.

🔼 No Yips Detected. The Florida Atlantic men's golf team (+4) won the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate by three shots on Tuesday. It's the third team title in two years under head coach Adrien Mörk. The Owls held off tournament host, Florida Gulf Coast (+7), by three shots.

Sophomore NaShawn Tyson (-3) posted a third consecutive 71 to finish alone in second place, four shots behind FGCU's Nolan Harper (-7). Tyson made a late charge at his second straight individual title, making four birdies on the back nine. Guilherme Grinberg (E) recorded a career-best tie for fifth place.

🔼 He’s a Show-Stopper. Senior shortstop Brando Leroux of the Florida Atlantic baseball team has been named AAC Player of the Week. Junior pitcher Tyler Murphy also earned a nod on the weekly honorable mention list.

Leroux went 8-for-15 (.533) at the plate in the Owls' 4-0 week, highlighted by a go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning of Sunday's 8-6 victory over East Carolina. The senior was also a vacuum defensively at shortstop, with seven putouts and 13 assists. Leroux made a potentially game-saving over-the-shoulder catch in shallow left in the ninth inning of Friday's 6-5 win.

🔼 FAU Coaches Tour de Force. Florida Atlantic Athletics has announced the dates for its yearly Hometown Team Tour. The three events will feature Q&As with Owl head coaches, giveaways, prizes, merch and more.

The first stop on Wednesday, April 23, is at Cove Brewery in Deerfield Beach. The following week, the tour rolls onto Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach for a stop at Johnnie Brown's on Monday, April 28. The final stop is set for Thursday, May 1, at Duffy's Sports Grill in North Palm Beach.
