Redshirt senior wide receiver Dominique Henry heads into his third season with the Owls after a breakout 2025 campaign in which he started all 12 games and hauled in 40 receptions for 575 yards and four touchdowns. The St. Augustine, Fla. native was mic'd up during a recent spring practice; check out the sights and sounds of Henry getting after it this spring.

🔼 On Senior Day. The Owls celebrated four-year senior Maya Shanok and then gutted out a thrilling 4-3 win over Tulane at the Strauss Tennis Center. FAU grabbed the doubles point behind wins from No. 68 nationally ranked Panna Bartha/Katrin Pavkova and Rowinska/Shanok. Freshman Malika Amirgaliyeva cruised on court three and Pavkova won in straights on court four, but Tulane fought back to knot things at 3-3. It came down to Alexia Patru on court five, who won a dramatic third-set tiebreak 7-0 after splitting the first two sets, clinching the match 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(0). FAU closes the regular season at FIU on April 11.

🔼 In Class. The Sandy Owls are excelling in the classroom with 15 student-athletes named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA) and seven earning Commissioner's Academic Medals for maintaining a 3.75 or higher. Medal recipients include Kendall Mignerey, Denisse Morgenstern, Mia Scanlon, Maddie Sides, Kate Stoughton, Olivia Strandberg, and Klaire VanDeusen. The No. 16 Sandy Owls (13-11) host their Capri Classic on April 10-11, welcoming North Florida, Jacksonville, SFA, and FGCU.

🔼 Welcome to Paradise. FAU women’s basketball head coach LeAnn Freeland bolstered her staff with the hire of Keri Jewett-Giles, a former ASUN Player of the Year and WBCA Honorable Mention All-American at FGCU. Jewett-Giles comes to Boca Raton after a season at Florida SouthWestern State College and a 2024-25 stint on the FGCU bench where the Eagles went 30-4 with a perfect 18-0 conference record and earned an NCAA Tournament bid.

🔼 Up Next. FAU men’s tennis is set to take on the American Championship, set to run from April 16-19, after wrapping up the regular season yesterday against Charlotte. The Championship will take place in Tulsa, Okla.
