🔼 The Champs Live HERE. The FAU beach volleyball squad is headed home with some new hardware.

After a thrilling three days at Sugar Beach in Youngsville, Louisiana, the Owls are bringing home the 2025 Conference USA Championship to Paradise.
 
The championship marks the second CUSA championship and third overall for the Sandy Owls.

🏐 Recapping The Championship Victory

🔼 Ticket Punched. With their championship victory, the Owls secured a berth in the NCAA Tournament and Sunday night, they learned their opponent as they are the #13 national seed and will take on fourth-seeded LMU in the opening round.

The action kicks off on Friday, May 2nd in Gulf Shores, Alabama. FAU’s opening round showdown is set to take off at 9 a.m.

🔼 Senior Salutin’ Sweep. Tough to find a better way to send off the seniors than with a home series sweep, right?

The 25th-ranked FAU softball squad extended their win streak to seven with a three-game series sweep of visiting Memphis, capped off with a run-rule victory on Senior Day on Sunday.

With the 10 runs in the series finale, the Owls already set a new program record for runs in a season with 332, topping last year’s mark of 328.

🔼 Path To The Pros. The goal of playing on NFL Sundays got a little closer for a trio of former Owls this past weekend.

OL standout Federico Maranges (Seahawks), defensive lineman Devonta Davis (Colts) and “Buggs” Khazir Brown (Packers) all inked free agent deals at the conclusion of this year’s NFL draft.

Since the program's inception 24 years ago, the Owls now have 65 NFL/CFL signees who have signed a professional football contract.
