Florida Atlantic women's golf posted its best conference tournament finish in program history on Wednesday, taking third at the AAC Championship.

Good Morning, Owl Family. Florida Atlantic women's golf posted its best conference tournament finish in program history on Wednesday at the AAC Championship. A team score of 284 in the final round was the Owls' lowest of the season and vaulted them up three spots on the leaderboard into third place.

The third-place results edges out the Owls' tie for third at the 2022 CUSA Championship as the highest conference championship finish in program history. Charlotte Perkins led the way, finishing in a tie for third individually. The sophomore finished at -3, four shots behind Tulsa's Romaine Masserey at the top of the leaderboard.

🔼 Sunk Those Pirates. Florida Atlantic's softball team launched three home runs to power past East Carolina with a 7-1 win on Thursday afternoon.
 
The Owls (36-9, 15-4) racked up 11 hits in a comeback victory over the Pirates (25-20, 10-9) to open the three-game series. Junior pitcher Autumn Courtney recorded her 10th complete game of the season and improved her record to 19-2 after allowing just two hits.

🔼 Leaders Of the Pack. The Florida Atlantic 2025-26 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Executive Board was announced on Friday. Led by incoming president Bernice Chau, the executive board features six student-athletes spread amongst five different athletic teams.

🔼 Let’s Meet in NC. The Florida Atlantic women's track & field distance runners travel to participate in the Wake Forest Invite today, Friday, April 18.

The Owls will race in two events this morning, starting with the 3000-meter steeplechase when Anabell Reumann, Jessica Hatch, and Astrid Baunge kick off the meet for FAU. The second and final event of the afternoon is the 1500-meter run, where freshman Constance Pittet will represent FAU to close out the meet for the Owls. 

🔼 BVB in The Big Easy. The No. 18 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team will wrap up its regular season schedule at the NOLA Classic today, Friday, April 18, and tomorrow, Saturday, April 19, at the White Sands Volleyball Courts in New Orleans.
 
FAU heads into the NOLA CLASSIC at 14-13 overall and 3-1 in CUSA play, while Tulane enters the weekend at 21-9 overall and 1-2 in CUSA play, McNeese at 11-13 overall and 2-6 in SLC play, San Jose State at 10-16 overall and 6-2 in SLC play, and Tarleton at 5-11 overall and 0-1 in CUSA play.
