🔼 Moving On. FAU men’s tennis advanced to the next round of the American Conference Championship with a 4-0 win over Temple. The Owls are back on the court today.

🔼 Bounce Back. FAU softball (27-16) got back in the win column with a dominant midweek 7-1 victory over FIU. Senior third baseman Jesiana Mora led the charge with three RBI on a two-RBI single in the third and a solo homer to lead off the fifth, her sixth of the season, while sophomore Bella Foran matched her career high with three hits, including a leadoff triple. Freshman Makenna Lee earned the win in the circle, holding the Panthers scoreless through five innings and improving to 6-1 on the season.

FAU opens a weekend series against Tulsa at home tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Stars and Stripes. Florida Atlantic swimmer Leyton Roe will represent Team USA at the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru (July 20–August 1), joining FAU Associate Head Coach Ryan Bubb on the American staff. In his first season as an Owl, Roe played a key role in FAU's first-ever conference championship, contributing to the gold medal 400 free relay, a program record, that clinched the ASUN title, and earning two bronze medals in the medley relays. He now ranks fourth all-time in program history in the 50 free.

🔼 Regular Season Finale. No. 15 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball closes out the regular season at the Alki Beach Invitational in Seattle this weekend, facing Oregon (today, 2:15 p.m. ET), No. 19 Washington (today, 6 p.m. ET), Portland (Saturday, 1 p.m. ET), and Boise State (Saturday, 4:45 p.m. ET). The Sandy Owls hold a 1-0 all-time record against Washington and a perfect 2-0 mark against Boise State, including a 4-1 win earlier this season. The CUSA Championship follows on April 23 in Louisiana.

🔼 In Class. Florida Atlantic Swimming & Diving landed eight honorees on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, with one Owl advancing to the All-America ballot. Senior Daniel Laureyssens was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will be voted on by CSC members, with first-, second-, and third-team honors announced April 29. The International Business major boasts a 3.800 GPA and capped his historic senior season with six medals (five gold) and became the first male Owl since 2006 to qualify for the NCAA Championship meet. The national All-America honorees will be revealed April 29.

If a Florida Atlantic baseball player hits a grand slam in the 4th inning during one of the selected home games, one lucky fan will win $15,000 toward the lease or purchase of a brand new car from Phil Smith Acura or Phil Smith Kia.
