Your Friday night plans are set! Florida Atlantic's Friday Night Showcase is this Friday, April 17, kicking off at 6:30 p.m. at Flagler Credit Union Stadium. Admission and parking are both free.

Highlights of the evening:

  • A Uniform Surplus Sale on the Delray Hyundai Deck opens at 6 p.m. with hundreds of past FAU uniforms across all sports available.

  • One fan gets a shot at a $5,000 prize by making a 40-yard field goal at halftime, courtesy of Phil Smith Acura & Phil Smith Kia.

  • Season ticket holders (and new buyers that night) can pick up a Howard Schnellenberger mini-statue, an exact replica of the Gate 1 statue, courtesy of Coke.

  • Postgame autograph session near the Schnellenberger statue.

  • A Fan Zone opens at 5 p.m. outside Gate 1, with free entertainment, a 2026 schedule poster, and other giveaways.

  • Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Palm Beach County Food Bank.

  • Radio coverage on FOX Sports 640 with Ken LaVicka, Chris Newbold, and Mike Mrezcko.

🔼 Collier Dominates. FAU graduate senior Ian Collier earned American Conference Player of the Week honors, the first Owl to win the award this season, after a dominant series against Memphis, going 7-for-13 (.538) with three home runs and six RBI. Collier homered twice and drove in three runs in Sunday's finale alone. Prior to Tuesday night’s game, he led the Owls with seven home runs and ranked second on the team with 20 RBI.

🔼 Meet the QBs. Get to know the two quarterbacks who are expected to run the offenses on Friday night: sophomore Jordan Magwood and transfer Drew Devillier.

🔼 Pair of the Week - Again! Klaire VanDeusen and Mia Scanlon earned Conference USA Pair of the Week honors for the second time this season after a dominant Capri Classic weekend, going 4-0 in straight sets with three dual-clinching wins over No. 17 North Florida, Jacksonville, SFA and RV FGCU. The award is the third weekly honor for the Sandy Owls overall this season. No. 15 FAU heads to Seattle for the Alki Beach Invitational on April 17-18, taking on Oregon, Portland, No. 19 Boise State and host Washington to close out the regular season.

🔼 On Deck. FAU softball (26-16) returns to Joan Joyce Field for a midweek matchup against FIU (28-13) today at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. The Owls lead the all-time series 67-42 and won the previous meeting 10-3 in Miami on March 25. Autumn Courtney leads the way in the circle with 14 wins, 92 strikeouts and a 2.15 ERA, ranking No. 4 nationally among all active players with 74 career wins, while Ciara Gibson has been on a tear, batting .455 with six homers and 15 RBI over the last 12 games. FAU then hosts Tulsa in a three-game American Conference series beginning Friday, all on ESPN+.

🔼 Hold Serve. FAU men's tennis earned the No. 7 seed in the American Conference Championship and opens tomorrow at 2 p.m. against No. 10 Temple in Tulsa. The Owls hold a 4-1 all-time advantage over the Owls of Philadelphia, including a 4-2 win in last year's American Championship, and have won three straight in the series. A win would set up a second-round matchup against No. 2 Charlotte.

🔼 Tourney Time. FAU women's tennis heads to Houston as the No. 5 seed in the American Conference Championship, opening against No. 12 seed South Florida tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Owls hold a 10-6 advantage in the all-time series and beat the Bulls 4-2 earlier this season. A win would send FAU to a Friday matchup against the winner of No. 4 Tulsa and No. 13 East Carolina at 10 a.m.

If a Florida Atlantic baseball player hits a grand slam in the 4th inning during one of the selected home games, one lucky fan will win $15,000 toward the lease or purchase of a brand new car from Phil Smith Acura or Phil Smith Kia.
