Paradise Brew 4/14: Perfection Not Pending
The win over in-state foe FIU propelled the FAU women's tennis team to 15-0, becoming the first FAU team in any sport to go an entire season undefeated.
Good Morning, Owl Family. The No. 27 Florida Atlantic women's tennis team concluded the 2024-25 regular season with a 4-1 victory over in-state foe No. 61 FIU on Saturday morning.
The win propels FAU to 15-0 on the year, becoming the first FAU team in any sport to power through the regular season undefeated. The Owls are also the only remaining undefeated women's tennis team in the country.

🔼 Defense Springs Ahead. The Florida Atlantic football team, under first-year Hagerty Family Head Coach Zach Kittley, capped its spring practice schedule with the annual spring game at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on Friday Night.
Florida Atlantic marched onto Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union Stadium for the program's first Friday night spring game with the offense wearing red and guided by quarterbacks in all black. The defense wore white and proved to be the good guys Friday night with a 22-9 victory.

🔼 Sunday Slugfest For Owls. The No. 22 Florida Atlantic softball team piled on six runs in the fifth inning to achieve the 8-0 run-rule victory over North Texas on Sunday afternoon. In the series finale, the Owls (35-9, 14-4) capitalized on five errors to snap the Mean Green's (30-14, 12-6) eight-game conference winning streak.
Making her second start of the weekend, junior pitcher Autumn Courtney delivered the shutout, allowing just three hits to go with four strikeouts. She moves to 18-2 on the season.

🔼 The Grand Finale. Florida Atlantic women's golf will compete in its second American Athletic Conference Championship beginning today at Southern Hills Plantation in Brooksville, Florida. The event format consists of three days and 54 holes of stroke play. Wednesday's final round will be broadcast live on ESPN+ at noon Eastern.

🔼 Rally Caps Malfunctioned. Florida Atlantic baseball tried to rally from an early deficit on Sunday but ultimately came up short in a 5-4 defeat at the hands of Memphis. The Tigers (14-21, 3-9 AAC) took the series from the Owls (24-11, 6-6 AAC) two games to one.

🔼 Running Into Spring Like… The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team finished the day in the USF Invitational on Saturday afternoon. On the day, the Owls competed in seven events.
Junior Camilla Nicholas ran in the 100-meter dash. She recorded an 11.80 for a season best. Three runners (Rosa ten Berg, Sofia Molina, and Astrid Baunge) participated in the 800-meter run. ten Berg etched her name in the top three with a 2:08.69 for an outdoor season best. Senior Jordan O'Brien recorded a career-best 1:04.14 in the 400-meter hurdles.

🔼 Seniors: “Owl Be Seeing You.” The No. 15 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team wrapped up the Capri Classic on Saturday, earning a 4-1 exhibition win over South Florida but falling 4-1 in the Capri Classic Championship against the FGCU Eagles on senior day. With the loss to FGCU, Florida Atlantic falls to 14-13 overall and 3-1 in CUSA play.
