No. 15 FAU beach volleyball went 4-0 across the Capri Classic weekend, capping it Saturday with a 5-0 sweep of Stephen F. Austin and a 3-2 victory over FGCU to improve to 17-11 on the year. Klaire VanDeusen and Mia Scanlon were the clinching pair in both matches, going a perfect 2-0 on the day and improving their season record to 17-10 as a pair. The Sandy Owls head to Seattle next weekend for the Alki Beach Invitational on April 17-18 to close out the regular season.

🔼 Running Wild. FAU women's track & field picked up two event wins at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational over the weekend. Jessica Hatch won the 1500-meter in 4:27.78, the second fastest time of her career, while teammate Teegan Anderson finished second in a season-best 4:30.08, moving her to third all-time in the FAU record book. The 4x400 relay team of Jada Bolhuis, Adriana Lopez, Rosa ten Berg, and Adrianna Mier also took first in a season-best 3:49.96, and Richelle Williams set career bests in both the 100-meter (12.18) and 200-meter. The Owls head to the Georgia Tech Invitational on April 17-18.

If a Florida Atlantic baseball player hits a grand slam in the 4th inning during one of the selected home games, one lucky fan will win $15,000 toward the lease or purchase of a brand new car from Phil Smith Acura or Phil Smith Kia.
