🔼 Run Rule. FAU softball (17-6) erupted for a season-high 14 runs and 15 hits to run-rule FGCU in six innings on Wednesday, picking up their fifth straight victory. FAU scored in every inning, highlighted by Yani Guzman stealing home in the first, Lily Holtje's two-run homer in the fourth, Jesiana Mora's bases-clearing double in the fifth, and Chloe Yeatts closing things out with a two-run shot. Freshman Makenna Lee improved to 5-0, while Holtje extended her on-base streak to 15 consecutive games and now ties for the team lead with four home runs. The Owls are a perfect 12-0 at home, tied for the best start at Joan Joyce Field in program history. Next: American Conference play opens today at Charlotte on ESPN+.

🔼 On Deck. FAU baseball (6-6) opens a three-game series against FIU (7-7) this evening at 6:30 p.m. at FAU Baseball Stadium, with Saturday's game shifting to Miami at 6 p.m. and Sunday's finale back in Boca Raton at noon. Brando Leroux has been swinging a hot bat, collecting eight hits in three games against Villanova, and starter James Litman leads the staff with a 69.2% strike-thrown percentage across his three starts. FAU holds an 85-56 all-time series lead over the Panthers and has won seven of the last 10 matchups.

🔼 Tee Off. FAU women’s golf will tee off on a three-day, 54-hole event in Gainesville this weekend. Freshman Tina Genoulaz leads the lineup after a T-25 finish in her last start, while Nancy Cox brings consistency, having finished inside the top 25 in each of her last six starts. The field includes four ranked programs: No. 7 Florida, No. 14 North Carolina, No. 27 Oklahoma and No. 40 Virginia.

🔼 On Sand. The Sandy Owls (7-1, 1-0 CUSA) travel to Conway, S.C. for four matches at the Chanticleer Challenge today and tomorrow. FAU opens this morning at 8 a.m. against CUSA foe Tulane, then faces host Coastal Carolina at noon. Saturday brings a top-5 showdown with No. 4 Cal Poly at 10 a.m., followed by Georgia State at 2 p.m. The Owls are coming off a 3-1 weekend that included their first ranked win of the season over No. 16 North Florida.

🔼 Hold Serve. The Owls (5-5) wrapped up a four-match road trip with a dominant 6-1 victory over Tulane (3-6) yesterday in New Orleans. FAU men’s tennis is now 1-1 in American Conference play and will return home for seven of its last eight matches.
