Owls Post Back-To-Back Walk-Off Win To Take Series From UMBC

🔼 Walkin’ It Out. The FAU Baseball squad enjoyed walkin’ it off so much, they thought they’d do it twice this past weekend to take the series from visiting UMBC.

Starting things off, the Owls scored twice in the ninth and four more times in the 11th to pull off a dramatic 10-9 victory in the series opener.

Capping off the weekend, FAU once again scored late, scoring a run in the eighth to tie things up and then the game-winner in the 10th to win for the 10th time in the past 12 games.

🔼 Finishing Strong. The 13th-ranked FAU Beach Volleyball squad battled some of the best in the country and finished the weekend strong, sweeping its final match of the four-game event, 4-0 against Tampa.

The Owls faced three of the top-seven teams in the country, battling back-and-forth with them all weekend long, before earning their 11th win of the season with the win over Tampa.

🔼 Young Gun. Last month, it was the conference meet. This time, the Owls went national.

Competing in the final meet of the season for the majority of the team, the FAU swimming & diving squad had a strong showing at the 2026 National Invitational Championships on Saturday inside the FAST Facility in Ocala.

The three-day meet concluded with freshman records, A-Final swims, and many best times. The weekend was highlighted by Wyatt Porch, who set a new freshman program record in the 100 IM.
