🔼 Bison Down. The Florida Atlantic baseball team completed the sweep against Bucknell, defeating the Bison 15-5 in eight innings at home on Wednesday afternoon. The Owls have won four in a row.

The team racked up 15 hits, led by three from John Martinez, who came up a home run short of the cycle. He finished 3-for-4 with five RBI. Senior pitcher Bryan Boully made his first appearance since after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He threw 20 pitches in a clean first inning and was credited with the win.

🔼 Terriers (Almost) All Bark. The No. 29 Florida Atlantic women's tennis team continued its winning ways with a 6-1 victory over the visiting Boston University Terriers on Thursday morning.

The Owls, who move to 7-0 on the season, dropped the doubles point in a best-of-three format, but the court one FAU duo of Lara Smejkal and Malwina Rowinska continued to prove to be unbeatable with a 6-3 win to also move to 7-0. FAU held brief leads on doubles courts two and three but could not finish the match with tiebreaker losses on both courts to surrender the lone point to BU.

🔼 This Is Not a Drill … Okay, Well Kind Of. The FAU football team picked up the practice pace with first-day logistics in the rearview mirror.

This Saturday, the Owls will don full pads for the first time under head coach Zach Kittley. It will be the third of 15 allowable practices and the first opportunity for the staff to really evaluate the team's skillset and where they will need to concentrate efforts moving forward.
