🔼 Weekend Perfection. FAU softball is 5-0 over the opening weekend, with wins over three Big Ten teams! The Owls took down Indiana, 8-0, on Thursday, Ohio State, 10-6, on Friday, and Wisconsin, 4-3, on Saturday. On Sunday, the Owls beat Stonehill, 10-0, and Delaware, 4-2.

The Owls will head to Clearwater, Fla., for the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational to take on Texas Tech, Florida State, Tennessee, Missouri, and James Madison from Feb. 13-15.

🔼 Clean Sweep. Erin Rodgers delivered a career-high 25 points to lead FAU women's basketball to a 68-63 victory over UAB, completing the season sweep and marking the Owls' first conference sweep since defeating Charlotte in 2023-24. The Owls (10-13, 4-7 American) jumped out to a 15-6 first-quarter lead and extended their advantage to 16 points in the third quarter before UAB cut the deficit to one with 26 seconds remaining. Rodgers shot 9-of-14 from the field with three triples and became the first Owl since 2023-24 to post back-to-back 20-point performances, while Vivian Onugha added 10 points and seven rebounds in the win. FAU dominated the paint 32-24 and controlled fast-break points and points off turnovers 8-5 against the Blazers (9-14, 2-9 American).

🔼 On Track. FAU women's track and field wrapped up its regular season at the Gainesville Indoor Classic, competing in eight events and setting multiple program records. Rosa ten Berg ran the 800 meters with a 2:08.86, while Adrianna Mier broke into the top eight in program history at 2:13.24, and senior Camilla Nicholas set a personal best in the 60-meter dash (7.53) to move into fourth in program history. Anabell Reumann and Madison Brown placed third and fifth in the mile, respectively, while the 4x400 relay team finished third, and the distance medley relay squad clocked an 11:53.23 to rank fourth all-time. The Owls will next compete at the American Conference Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, from February 27-28.
