🔼 First Pitch. We’re just a day away from a brand-new season of FAU softball! Frank Forte has you covered with everything you need to know before Thursday’s opener.

🔼 Fresh Impact. FAU’s Josiah Parker is the American Freshman of the Week! Parker led the Owls in rebounds with a total of 19 last week while scoring 36 points and tallying five assists, a block, and a steal. The Owls are back at it tonight against Tulsa at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Mark Your Calendar. Florida Atlantic beach volleyball has announced its 2026 schedule, opening play February 20-21 at home with the Beach Burrow Bash. The Sandy Owls will compete in eight tournaments during the regular season, including road trips to Florida State, Coastal Carolina, North Florida, Texas, and Washington, plus three home events in Boca Raton and Pompano Beach.

🔼 January Honors. Men’s basketball’s Xander Pintelon and women’s basketball’s Erin Rodgers are the Prestige Windows & Doors Student-Athletes of the Month for January. The award is given monthly to recognize excellence in the classroom.

🔼 Meet The Owls. Celebrate Signing Day with Hagerty Family Head Coach Zach Kittley and his staff! RSVP to the celebration by Feb. 6. The festivities will occur on Feb. 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Delray Genesis Club at Flager Credit Union Stadium.

🔼 On Air. Florida Atlantic's Coaches Radio Show returns Feb. 5 at Duffy's Sports Grill in Boca Raton from 6-7 p.m. on Fox Sports 640 South Florida. Host Frank Forte will be joined by men's basketball head coach John Jakus and freshman guard Josiah Parker, plus swimming and diving head coach Lara Preacco. Jakus' Owls sit in third place in the American Conference standings and are entering a bye week before visiting Rice on Feb. 11. Preacco, in her 14th year at FAU and 12th as head coach, will discuss preparing for the conference championship meets. Fans are encouraged to attend at Duffy's (21212 St. Andrews Blvd) and enjoy dinner and beverage specials.
