The Owls are ready to take flight in 2026! Florida Atlantic opens the season on Sept. 5 at Florida before bringing six home games to Flagler Credit Union Stadium, including matchups against Navy (Sept. 12), FIU in the Shula Bowl (Sept. 19), and South Florida (Nov. 21). Back-to-back Thursday night games at North Texas (Oct. 29) and home versus UTSA (Nov. 5) add some extra excitement to the conference slate. Fans can also catch second-year head coach Zach Kittley's squad early at the free Friday Night Showcase spring game on April 17 at 6:30 p.m.

🔼 Midweek W. FAU men’s basketball snagged a midweek win with a 77-73 victory over Temple last night. Kanaan Carlyle led the way for the Owls with 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting with six rebounds, while Xander Pintelon added 12 points and Yohann Sissoko tallied 10. Devin Williams and Josiah Parker added nine apiece. FAU hosts Charlotte on March 1 at 2 p.m.

🔼 On The Diamond. The Owls wrap up their opening homestand with a three-game series against Villanova starting today, at 6:30 p.m., followed by games Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at noon. FAU (3-5) enters the series looking to bounce back. Some bright spots to watch: Patrick Ward is riding a five-game hitting streak, Kyle Boylston has been red-hot with four hits in the last two games, including his first career home run, and Kide Adetuyi turned heads with 10 strikeouts in just five innings against Miami. FAU holds an 11-2 all-time advantage over the Wildcats.

🔼 Tourney Time. It’s time for the last tournament before conference play! The Owls (12-6) head to Conway, S.C. for the Beach Chicken Brawl, facing Binghamton (Fri 10 a.m., Sat 10 a.m.), Saint Joseph's (Fri 12:30 p.m.), and host Coastal Carolina (Sat 3 p.m., Sun 12:30 p.m. on ESPN+).

Inside the Owls' Burrow reairs today at 1 p.m. and tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. This week's edition spotlights beach volleyball as the Owls chase a third conference title in four years, plus a fun segment where softball newcomer McKenna Mulholland grills teammate Sara Harris. The highlight: FAU alum and LA Angels first baseman Nolan Schanuel sits down with host Frank Forte to talk about entering his fourth year in the big leagues. 🔼 Up Next. FAU women’s tennis heads to the Bay Area for a neutral-site match against Charlotte on Saturday at 11 a.m., then face host USF on Sunday at 11 a.m. FAU owns a perfect 7-0 all-time record against Charlotte and is 6-2 at USF in the series. Panna Bartha leads the way in doubles with a 6-2 record, while Lara Smejkal (5-1) and Katrin Pavkova (5-3) have been steady contributors. After this weekend, FAU returns home for a seven-match homestand starting March 9 vs. Yale.

🔼 Beach Bash. The No. 14 Sandy Owls (4-0) hit the road for the first time this season, heading to Tallahassee for the Seminole Beach Bash. FAU faces UNC Wilmington today at 11 a.m., then takes on No. 6 Florida State at 3 p.m. Saturday brings No. 16 North Florida at 12:15 p.m. followed by the tournament's playoff round. The Sandy Owls enter on a high after going unbeaten at their own Beach Burrow Bash with wins over Boise State, Palm Beach Atlantic, Coastal Carolina, and FIU.

During the Florida Atlantic vs. South Florida game, we recognized Boca Raton Fire Rescue firefighters Nikki Esposito and Brianna Friedrich as part of the First Responder Salute. From serving with Boca Fire to mentoring youth and leading in the Honor Guard, their impact reaches far beyond the court.
