Freshman guard Josiah Parker picked up his conference-leading fifth American Freshman of the Week award after posting back-to-back double-doubles against Rice (career-high 25 points) and South Florida. Parker has led FAU men’s basketball in points, rebounds, and free-throw attempts over the last five games.

🔼 Win Column. FAU baseball picked up the early-week win over Missouri last night with a 4-2 victory. Kyzer Smith got the win from the mound, while Bryan Boully recorded his first save of the season. The Owls found their offense from Patrick Ward and Michael Perazza, who both finished 2-4 on the evening, while Nick Romano belted a HR and 2 RBI, Xavier Moronta added an RBI, and Brett Patten logged two bases. The Owls are back on the diamond on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. against Iowa in Boca Raton. Tickets here.

🔼 Conference Star. Erin Rodgers keeps making her mark for FAU women’s hoops. The guard picked up her second American Conference Honorable Mention of the season after a huge week, powering the Owls to wins over Wichita State and Tulsa. Rodgers averaged 17.5 points across the two games, highlighted by a career-second-best 24 points against Wichita State, where she hit the game-winning and-1 and sealed the overtime victory with a clutch block. The Owls have won three straight and head to East Carolina on Tuesday.

🔼 Meet Bilu. Get to know junior Bilú Bianchi, a Clearwater native who found her love for swimming all over again after joining the Owls. Bianchi got into the sport through her high school friends and quickly discovered she had serious talent, eventually representing her country at the Junior Pan American Games, where she placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke. She credits her FAU teammates with reigniting her passion after battling burnout in high school. Now she's got big goals: medal at conference, hit the podium, and break the school record. The Owls head into conference championship season with Bianchi ready to make her mark.

Junior diver Riley Hersh is the latest Owl featured in FAU's "Hometown Team" series, which highlights local student-athletes from the Florida Keys to the Treasure Coast. FAU athletes have logged nearly 20,000 hours of community service under AD Brian White, and Hersh is helping carry that tradition forward as the Owls gear up for conference championship season.
