🔼 In Sweeping Fashion. The FAU baseball team held Delaware without a hit for the final six innings on Sunday in route to a 7-0 series finale victory. The Owls completed the sweep and enter Tuesday's first meeting of the season with Miami at 3-0.
The Owls finished with 10 hits, led by two each from Jake Millan and Kyle Boylston. Millan finished the opening weekend 7-for-12 with a home run, four doubles, seven RBI, and seven runs scored. Boylston debuted on Saturday and is now 6-for-7 with three doubles and five RBI.

🔼 Onward and Upward. The Florida Atlantic softball team fought hard in their final game of the Joan Joyce Classic on Sunday afternoon, but despite a strong offensive showing with 11 hits, the Owls fell short against the determined Louisville Cardinals.
In the circle for the Owls, Jaden Martinez made her third start of the season, striking out three batters.
With the loss, FAU's record now stands at 9-2 as they close out their two home tournaments—an impressive start to the season, showcasing the potential and growth of the team.

🔼 Left It All On The Court. FAU men's tennis fell Sunday afternoon to perennial power UC Santa Barbara by a 4-1 score.
Doubles was a dog fight. Segundo Goity Zapico and Lucca Pitnaton quickly won their match and needed just one more to secure the point in the best-of-three format. Both courts went into extra play, with UCSB ultimately winning the point.
Singles play began with UCSB winning court two to go up 2-0, until a vocal Simon Myslivec captured his match 7-5, 6-1, to pull within one at 2-1. The remaining four courts volleyed back and forth, with UCSB securing the final two matches in the best-of-seven formats or the 4-1 win.

🔼 Linking Up in California. The Florida Atlantic men's golf team is back in action in California starting today at "The Prestige," hosted by UC – Davis on the Norman Course at PGA West.
Fresh off a third-place team finish in their last event, the Owls will keep the same lineup this week. Guilherme Grinberg tied for third individually at the Sea Best Invitational two weeks ago and will once again lead the lineup in California. The Owls will be paired with Kansas and Oregon State in the first round starting this morning at 11:55 a.m. local time (2:55 p.m. ET).

The morning began with the 60 meter dash, as three Owls (Camilla Nicholas, Kayla Hopkins, and Adriana Lopez) made the finals and finished in the top 10. Nicholas finished with a 7.67 to take first place. Three runners (Richelle Williams, Jada Bolhuis, and Jordan O'Brien) finished with personal bests during the 400 meter dash. More personal bests for the Owls arrived during the mile from Jessica Hatch, Elyssa Toal, and Leah Helms. New marks were made in the record book, as Hatch moved to No. 2 in program history with a time of 4:52.82 and Toal to No. 7 all-time in the mile at 4:56.65. Junior Isabel O'Brien ran in the 3K and recorded a personal best with a time of 10:07.83

🔼 Perry’s Push Not Enough. The Florida Atlantic Owls fell in a hard-fought 74-62 battle against the South Florida Bulls on Saturday at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

In Drippy News. New BVB season, new ‘fits.
The Answer: 20!
The Owls' pitching staff set a program record by striking out 20 Delaware hitters during the season opener on Friday, starting with a career-high 10 from Beard in just four innings. The previous record of 18 had been accomplished twice, most recently in 2023 in a 16-inning game against LA Tech.
