🔼 Opening Day. Florida Atlantic baseball head coach John McCormack released Episode #131 of his "Mac's Musings" podcast, available on Spotify and the FAU Athletics website. The podcast series provides fans with insights into the Owls' baseball program from McCormack, who was recently inducted into the ABCA Hall of Fame in January and has been with FAU baseball for 36 years. The Owls are set to open their 2026 season with a three-game series against Notre Dame at FAU Baseball Stadium, starting tonight at 6:30 p.m., followed by games Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at noon.

Florida Atlantic Softball (5-0) heads to the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational for five games in three days, opening today with No. 1 Texas Tech at 4 p.m. and No. 5 Florida State at 7 p.m., before facing No. 2 Tennessee and Missouri on Saturday and closing with James Madison on Sunday. The undefeated Owls swept the season-opening Paradise Classic with wins over Indiana, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Stonehill, and Delaware, led by unanimous American Conference Pitcher of the Year Autumn Courtney and American Player of the Week Lily Holtje.
