🔼 OT Winners. FAU women’s hoops picked up a 79-77 win over Wichita State in OT last night on the road in Kansas. Erin Rodgers paved the way for the Owls with 24 points in the win, while Jess Moors added 13 and Grace Cartensen tallied nine. Next up for the Owls is a clash with Tulsa in Boca Raton on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets available here.

🔼 Standing Out. Erin Rodgers snagged American Conference Honorable Mention recognition on Monday after torching UAB for a career-high 25 points in FAU's 68-63 victory. The guard shot 9-of-14 from the field, hit three triples, and added four rebounds to complete the season sweep over the Blazers. It's Rodgers' fourth career American weekly honor!

🔼 Starting Perfect. Florida Atlantic dominated the American Conference's opening weekly softball awards after a perfect 5-0 weekend at the Paradise Classic. Sophomore Lily Holtje claimed Player of the Week in her Owls debut, posting a .556 average and .688 on-base percentage with five hits (four for extra bases) and six walks across wins over Big Ten opponents Indiana, Ohio State, and Wisconsin. Reigning unanimous conference Pitcher of the Year Autumn Courtney earned Pitcher of the Week honors with two wins and a save, fanning a league-best 16 batters while posting a 1.40 ERA.

ADT Salutes Area First Responders at Owls Basketball Games

🔼 Game Day. Florida Atlantic men's basketball (14-10, 6-5 American) returns from a week off tonight at 8 p.m. ET to face Rice (10-14, 4-7) on ESPN+ before hosting first-place South Florida (16-8, 8-3) on Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPN2 in a "Red Out.” Full previews here.

🔼 Hometown Team. Florida Atlantic baseball highlighted redshirt senior shortstop Nick Romano as part of its "Hometown Team" series showcasing local student-athletes from across South Florida. The initiative celebrates FAU student-athletes who have contributed nearly 20,000 hours of community service under AD Brian White's tenure, spotlighting athletes from the Florida Keys to the Treasure Coast. Romano, a key member of the Owls baseball program, represents FAU's deep community ties as "the Hometown Team everyone can get behind."

🔼 Tune In. The Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, presented by Duffy's Sports Grill, returns Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at Duffy's Boca Raton location (21212 St. Andrews Boulevard) and will air live on Fox Sports 640 South Florida. Voice of the Owls Ken LaVicka will host women's basketball coach LeAnn Freeland and guard Erin Rodgers, fresh off completing a season sweep of UAB with a 68-63 victory, and baseball coach John McCormack as the Owls prepare to open their 2026 season Friday against Notre Dame. Fans can attend in person to enjoy dinner and beverage specials while listening live, with additional shows scheduled for February 19, February 25, and March 5.

🔼 Inside The Owls’ Burrow. Florida Atlantic's "Inside the Owls' Burrow" returns with its 23rd episode of Season 10, airing Thursday at 12 p.m. on FanDuel Sports Florida, with re-airs Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Host and producer Frank Forte will preview FAU baseball's season opener under 36-year program veteran John McCormack (18th season as head coach), feature men's basketball freshman Josiah Parker and his brother, assistant coach Demon Parker, discussing their unique sibling dynamic as player and coach, and spotlight the women's golf team fresh off last year's third-place American Conference championship finish. The show will also be available at fausports.com and on YouTube.
