Good morning, Owls Family. The FAU MBB team took down Texas State in their final home game of 2024, defeating the Bobcats by a score of 89-80 on Saturday afternoon.
 
With the victory, the Owls (7-5) own a season-high three-game winning streak after beating a formidable 7-4 Bobcats team. For the sixth time this season, five FAU players scored 10+ points, led by redshirt junior forward and reigning AAC Player of the Week Tre Carroll with 18 points.

🔼 The Better Half. A huge second-half effort powered the Owls to a 71-56 win over Kennesaw State to close out their non-conference home slate on Friday at the Elly, improving their record to 6-4.

Four Owls scored double figures in the win, led by Jada Moore with a season-high 20 points, shooting 67 percent (10-of-15) from the floor, in addition to adding six boards, two steals, and an assist in the win. Mya Perry, Stefanie Ingram, and Ta'Ziah Jenks joined Moore in double figures, tallying 13, 12, and 10 points, respectively.
