Good morning, Owls Family. The FAU MBB team took down Jacksonville on Tuesday evening in an 85-63 victory, winning the third annual Boca Raton Megabowl.
 
Five Owls scored in double figures, four of them being front-court players. Redshirt junior forward Tre Carroll, the reigning AAC Player of the Week, kept up the momentum from his previous outing, contributing to 10 straight Owl points, eight scoring, and an assist in a second half that was all Florida Atlantic, outscoring the Dolphins 48-32.

🔼 Making Her Mark. After helping lead the Owls in a top-10 battle against the No. 9-ranked TCU Horned Frogs this past week, Erin Rodgers was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week. The award marks the Owls' fourth weekly and Rodgers' league-leading third AAC Freshman of the Week honor this season.
 
Rodgers had a solid performance for the Owls against No. 9-ranked TCU this week, tying for a team-leading 13 points, shooting 60 percent (6-of-10) from the field and 100 percent (1-of-1) from 3-point range.

🔼 Noah Knows. Florida Atlantic men's soccer graduate senior Noah Kvifte has been named as a Second Team Academic All-American. He becomes the third player in FAU men's soccer program history to earn the honor, joining Hagay Jalon in 2019 and Victor Claudel in 2023. He is the sixth student-athlete in Florida Atlantic history among all sports to be named an Academic All-American. 

Acknowledged as one of the most selective and prestigious awards in all college athletics, the CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field/court and in the classroom.

🔼 Bench Press. Redshirt junior forward Tre Carroll of the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career. 
 
Carroll has been a tremendous asset for the Owls off the bench on the year. Against FIU, he set a new career-high of 24 points on the night. Within the first 20 minutes of the game, he recorded 18 points, going 6-8 from the field.
