🔼 35 Under 35. FAU football special teams coordinator Tyler Schovanec is part of the American Football Coaches Association Foundation’s 35 Under 35 Coaches Leadership Institute! The event is designed to identify and train rising leaders on the gridiron.

🔼 Save The Dates. The schedule is in for FAU softball! The defending back-to-back regular season American Conference champs won 45 games last season, its most since 2016, and defeated Georgia Tech in the Gainesville Regional. This year, the Owls will play a 53-game schedule including nine games against power conference foes. Full schedule here.

🔼 Tune In. The winter schedule for the Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, presented by Duffy’s Sports Grill, is in! The show begins tomorrow from 6-7 p.m. at the Duffy’s on St. Andrew’s Boulevard, and features men’s basketball head coach John Jakus, Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White, and host Ken LaVicka!

🔼 Back On The Diamond. Marshall Lipsey returns to the diamond for FAU a year after leading the team in runs, steals, triples, slugging, and OPS. Here’s what D1 Baseball has to say about our superstar.

🔼 American Stars. Freshman Josiah Parker and sophomore Devin Vanterpool earned American Conference weekly honors after the duo scored 23 of FAU’s final 30 points in a come-from-behind win over Florida Gulf Coast. The Owls are back at it tonight at 7 p.m. against Saint Leo at home.

🔼 Conference Honor. FAU women’s basketball’s Zahira Arizmendi earned an American Conference Honor Mention after her career-high 14 points in FAU’s win over Western Kentucky. Arizmendi finished with 50 percent shooting from the field and 50 percent shooting from beyond the arc. FAU women’s hoops host FGCU on Friday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Meet Destyne. And speaking of FAU women’s hoops, it’s time to get to know graduate guard Destyne Jackson as she sits down for a “Get To Know You” segment with “Inside the Owls’ Burrow.”
